FAQs
Why Buy A Cremation Urn Online?
The Federal Trade Commission protects individual under the Funeral Rule stating that the provider may not refuse, or charge a fee, to handle a casket (Or Urn) bought elsewhere, and a provider offering cremations must make alternative containers available. This means that you can choose to buy an urn not offered by the funeral home from another location.
Buying cremation urns online gives you more options to choose from to find the perfect memorial for you loved one. We will ship directly to funeral home or an address of your choice.
What Size Urn Do I Need?
The most common method for determining cremations is one cubic inch for each pound of body weight. The Cremation Association of North America (CANA) has determined that the size of a standard urn is 200 cubic inches. Each product description will give the cubic inches that the urn can hold.
How Do I Open The Urn?
Remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the urn and the cover will come off. Insert the plastic bag or container of ashes. Replace cover and tighten screws. For step by step instructions with pictures, click here
